Carefully carved from a dense forest of 780 acres, Woodlands Edge has approximately 800 residents in nine different neighborhood communities. However, nearly 40% of the land in Woodlands Edge has been preserved for greenspace and wildlife. Almost every home adjoins a heavily-wooded greenspace purposefully designed to provide privacy, tranquility, and a personal closeness to nature.
Woodlands Edge is a sustainable community, a green neighborhood, and the only of its kind in Little Rock. In 2009, the neighborhood was named the Green Development of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders.
Woodlands Edge offers a community pool and a clubhouse as well as tennis courts, a playground, and picnic facilities. The community also has a private lake built for catch-and-release fishing and 6 miles of hiking and nature trails.
