Welcome to Heights/Cammack Village
Developed in the early 1900s, The Heights is one of the oldest established neighborhoods in Little Rock. Centrally located atop Cantrell Road, the neighborhood is full of rich character and highly-sought-after homes including cottages, bungalows, and beautiful estates with wooded and manicured lawns.
Nestled among some of the neighborhood’s largest and most expensive homes is the historic Country Club of Little Rock, which opened in 1902 and is one of the oldest country clubs west of the Mississippi River. It boasts a gorgeous hilltop golf course with beautiful views of the Arkansas River and downtown Little Rock.
The Heights’ residents confess they rarely need to leave the neighborhood—boutiques, banks, restaurants, and grocery stores are all within walking distance. Mom-and-pop shops, eateries, and boutiques along Kavanaugh Boulevard supply residents with everything from outdoor gear, books, and toys to high fashion and luxury jewels. The Heights is also known for its local festivals including Handmade in The Heights, Chili Fights in the Heights, and Cinco de Heights.
Cammack Village is a unique “city within a city.” The land was originally owned by Wiley Dan Cammack who tried to have the land annexed into the city of Little Rock in the 1940s, but his request was denied. Cammack Village has its own police force and is home to over 400 households including many homes with beautiful river views.
